Carmine Ioanna was born in Avellino on October 20, 1985.
At the age of 4 he started playing musical instruments.
Then when he was at the age of eight, he started to perform live both as an accordion and a piano player. When he was just 11 he signed up for the Music Academy called ”Cimarosa” in Avellino for piano classes. At 17 he went to live in Frosinone where at the Academy ”L.Refice”, he graduated in accordion, achieving a Master Degree with the Maestro A.Ranieri. At the same time, while studying and playing classical compositions, he also improvised with other genres of music, but one in particular was Jazz.
He has collaborated with the Music Academy of Frosinone in several events. One of his major accomplishments is, earning a scholarship at a Jazz seminar for accordion given by The Berklee College of Music with the highest score possible.
