Composer, Glenn Buhr and novelist Margaret Sweatman join forces with the Penderecki String Quartet for a jazz cabaret featuring words and music with a jazz twist.  Their original music is a mix of lyrical jazz, tender songwriting, classical modernism, and quite a bit of deft humour.  The cabaret also features words and music by: Leonard Cohen, Thelonious Monk, the Rolling Stones, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell and Charles Mingus.  Special guests: Peter Lutek on electric bassoon/clarinet and Andrew Downing on bass.
