HWO is original music penned by Thomas Hammerton, Tyler Wagler, and Dave O’Neill. In the mix are tunes by Radiohead, the Beatles, Tears for Fears, Genesis, Tom Waits, St. Vincent, Joni Mitchell, as well as favourite songs from the massive catalogue of the standards repertoire. Jamaican-Canadian singer/songwriter/musician Joni NehRita has been a staple on the KW/Guelph regional scene for a decade. Her musicÆs infectious blend of jazz, R&B/soul & reggae has been well supported by the CBC, and has had local commercial radio success.
She has even been a guest vocalist with the Hamilton Philharmonic & The KW Symphony. Joni has toured in Australia, the UK, the U.S., France, Germany and Oman.
