One of the finest moments of the jazz room was it’s first – and this year is no exception as Larry Larson returns to kick off the 2013/2014 season.
The sell-out crowds of the first seasons know full well that Larry brings unparalleled tonal control to the jazz stage. His achievements with the classical trumpet and flugelhorn are known throughout Canada, and his career has spanned both musical forms. Larry’s compelling Miles Davis tribute was testimony to his pure form, melodic lines and meaningful improvisation.
