The Merchant of Venice Score: CD Launch, Concert & Talk

Come hear Tom Nagy’s music for the upcoming KWLT production of Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice!

The Grand River Jazz Society is proud to partner with the KW Little Theatre to present a live score performance and discussion with composer Tom Nagy and stage director Jonathan Dietrich.  Jonathan’s groundbreaking staging of this classic play draws out themes of alienation and discrimination, using masks and a bold new score to make its points.

This special once-only event is also the launch of the score CD, available for purchase or with your admission!

Featuring live performances by these fabulous people:

Joni NehRita (vocals)

Jason White (piano)

Brent Rowan (woodwinds)

Dan Beacock (guitar)

Don McDougall (drums)

Tom Nagy (bass, composition)

Admission to this event is only $15, with a free CD (with bonus online download card)!  Admission without the CD is just $5, or free for Jazz Society passholders (thanks to a special arrangement with the Grand River Jazz Society).  Tickets will be available at the door only.

Doors open at 7 pm

Event will run 7:30-9 pm
