Guitarist Trevor Giancola is becoming a staple of Toronto’s thriving jazz and creative music scene.  He has performed as a member the Mike Murley Quartet, the Kelly Jefferson Quartet, Boptarts featuring Seamus Blake, Trevor Falls Collective, The Trevor Giancola Quartet and Trio, Josh Cole 4tet, Monk’s Music, and others.  He has shared the stage with Sophie Millman, Dave Douglas, Seamus Blake,  and John Abercrombie among others.  Trevor has been featured on CBC Radio 1, BT Breakfast Television, and Canada AM with Sophie Millman.

The Trevor Giancola Quartet showcases original music and has been performing at clubs and Jazz Festivals since 2004.

Trevor received his Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Performance from TRU via Humber College and has studied with Ben Monder, Lage Lund, Gilad Hekselman, Mike Moreno, Reg Schwager, Drew Gress, John Abercrombie, and other Toronto-based guitarists.

Adam Arruda:
Toronto-born drummer Adam Arruda has been performing music from a very early age. He was the recipient of many awards including the Zildjian Outstanding Drummer and Combo Drummer Award from 2001-2008 at Music Fest Canada. He was invited to to Grammy Awards in 2007 to perform with the Gibson/Baldwin Grammy Jazz Big Band and was chosen (among four others) to study at University of the Pacific for one year as a Brubeck Institute Fellow in 2008 on full scholarship. Currently residing in New York, Adam is among the most sought-after drummers in the world and has worked with Greg Osby, Dayna Stephens, Gilad Hekselman, Sam Yahel, Phil Woods, Jeremy Pelt, and many others.

Neil Swainson:
Victoria, BC native Neil Swainson has been a pillar on the Canadian jazz scene for 40 years. Neil has recorded, toured with and/or performed with some of the greatest jazz musicians of all time including George Shearing, Joe Henderson, Woody Shaw, Herb Ellis, Lee Konitz, Barney Kessel, Roberta Gamberini, Tommy Flanagan, James Moody, George Coleman, Slide Hampton, Ed Bickert, Currently residing in Toronto, Neil teaches bass at the prestigious Humber College Jazz Program.
