Julie Michels has performed, toured and recorded with Kevin Barrett, George Koller, Ottawa’s Chelsea Bridge, the MCCT Choir (Diane Leah, Musical Director) and her own bands, Sutra and Parlay. One of her greatest honours was to perform at the State Funeral for the late Jack Layton, Leader of the NDP of Canada. Julie has a regular duo gig with George Koller. She describes singing with only bass accompaniment as “singing naked”.
