Brian Dickinson has been a fixture on the Canadian jazz scene for over thirty-five years. He has
performed internatonally with artsts including Lee Konitz, Jerry Bergonzi, Michael and Randy
Brecker, Pat LaBarbera, Kirk MacDonald, Kenny Wheeler and John Abercrombie.
He is a mul?ple Juno award winner with two recent nomina?ons for his recordings, “Fishs
Eddy”, a trio offering featuring the bass work of George Mraz and “The Rhythm Method”, a
quintet recording. His most recent recording is, “Music for Jazz Orchestra” (October 2017), a
recording of original music for big band featuring some of Canada’s best, including: Kelly
Jefferson, Kevin Turco]e, John MacLeod, Luis Deniz, Perry White and Al Kay, among others. As a
sideman, he has played on over eighty recordings.
For the past two years, he has been an active member of the “Canadian Jazz Collective” touring
and recording in Europe and North America.
