John Zadro has performed extensively over the past four decades and he has sold out at the Jazz Room since its inception. He continues to bring fresh original compositions every performance, that mimic many of the styles of the great writers. Attending one of John’s shows is akin to attending a jazz history clinic where one may hear shades of Ellington, Jelly Roll Morton, Jobim and more modern composers of the art form. From bouncing be-bop to haunting ballads, the listener will be treated to selections which may be introspective, humorous, joyful or just downright happy!
Accompanying John is a superb trio of accomplished local musicians -Jim Edwards (trombone), Tyler Wagler (bass) and Andy MacPherson (percussion).
