Andrew takes the lead – of a broadly engaging sextet and also in a talented generation of Humber College grads. Back by popular demand, Andrew’s bold trumpet lines are testament to his dedication as a composer, performer and arranger. From forays into jazz, classical, funk, Latin, world, and folk music, his sextet promises diversity and a fresh attack.
Andrew McAnsh has played in top studio ensembles under the direction of Pat Labarbera, Denny Christianson, Brian O’Kane and Al Kay to name a few. Andrew has performed with world class musicians Chris Potter, Dave Holland, Terence Blanchard, and the Labarbera brothers during his Bachelor’s at Humber College.
