Colleen Allen is a well-known saxophonist on the Canadian jazz scene. She has appeared at the Jazz Room with Jason Logue’s Ennead, David Buchbinder’s Odessa-Havana project, David Woodhead’s Confabulation as well as with the Caribbean jazz project: Kalabash.
She is a member of Manteca, The Molly Johnson Quintet, David Clayton Thomas’s band and has made many appearances with Brian Barlow’s Big band.

The band – comprised of the wonderful Adrean Farrugia (piano), the inimitable George Koller (bass), and the expressive Ethan Ardelli (drums) – will be performing some inventive interpretations of familiar jazz standards as well as original compositions that are sure to engage.
