A blend of Soul, Pop, and Jazz Gavin has a diverse array of tastes and influences. For the night on May 15th there’ll be all kinds of soulful flavours to enjoy from the 70’s and 80’s with a stellar blend of musicians.
Three-time Juno Award nominee Gavin Hope is an acclaimed Canadian vocalist known for his powerful voice and dynamic stage presence. As the longest-serving baritone of legendary a cappella group The Nylons, he toured the world, recorded six albums, and helped define the group’s iconic sound. His solo pop album Anything Like Mine charted nationally, and his jazz album For All We Know (with Bill King) earned critical acclaim, named one of the top Canadian jazz albums by the Toronto Star.
Gavin is a longtime featured vocalist with Jeans ‘n Classics, performing symphonic tributes to music icons like Prince, Stevie Wonder, and Earth Wind & Fire across North America. He’s headlined festivals from Toronto to Europe, China, Borneo, and Brazil, and after The Nylons’ sold-out farewell tour in 2017, continues to thrive as a solo performer, actor, and recording artist. Wherever he sings, Gavin brings soul, artistry, and unmistakable presence to every performance.
