While his repertoire is vast and ever evolving, Kirk is known for bop jazz lines that have a fresh inventiveness. Take Manhattan Getaway, which seamlessly alternates between 7:4 and 4:4 and draws on a harmonic complexity to match the rhythmic intrigue.
