“After just having wrapped up a 30-year career with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, I can’t imagine a more meaningful stage to me than at The Jazz Room to begin my next musical adventures! “Larry’s Jazz Guys” were most honoured and humbled to open this incredible club back in September, 2010, and have enjoyed taking part in every season since that very first!
“I am fortunate enough to have dear friends who are some of the finest jazz musicians in Canada. We have enjoyed headlining the “Jazz At The Registry” series at the Registry Theatre in Kitchener for over a dozen years, and have performed at the Stratford Festival as part of their “Night Music” series for the past 11 seasons, with our next appearance just 10 days from tonight.
“The musical community in Waterloo Region has been so wonderfully supportive of my many musical escapades, and as I now begin to enjoy the rest of the fingers of my “musical glove,” I look forward to spending more time with my incredible “Guys!”
