Furthering Musician Careers through Venue-Based Live Recording
Live at The Jazz Room is a new venue-based record label, created in collaboration with The Grand River Jazz Society, Creative Enterprise Initiative and the City of Kitchener, and funded by the Province of Ontario’s Cultural Development Fund and Creative Enterprise Initiative.
Part of an overall “Music Accelerator” program, Live at The Jazz Room explores the possibilities for musicians to utilize venue-based live recordings as a means to further their careers and build their music business. This exciting effort will feature live recordings from some of your favorite artists that have appeared over the past few seasons.
This project is a collaborative partnership between the Grand River Jazz Society, Creative Enterprise Initiative and the City of Kitchener, with funding provided by the Province of Ontario’s Cultural Development Fund and Creative Enterprise Initiative.
