Nov. 26 ~ Ted’s Warren Commission (quartet)
Cover charge: $18/person
If you have not had the chance to hear these guys, you are in for a real treat. They are without doubt one of the finest Jazz acts to catch in Canada!
Ted's Warren Commission
With the ever-talented Mike Malone on trumpet, the riff-owning Kim Ratcliffe on guitar, the gifted bass-thumping Mike Downes (try finding a Jazz song he DOESN’T know, by the way… impossible), and the oh-so-rhythmic wizard of drums Ted Warren.
These guys are simply GREAT!
In 2004, they released their debut CD, First Time Caller. The recording garnered many favorable reviews including Coda magazine’s top ten recordings of the year. Ted’s Warren Commission’s follow up CD, Songs For Doug (Doctor’s Orders) was released in summer of 2008. The band toured Canada in January 2009 to support the new recording.
Some highlights about Ted’s Warren Commission:
- no, they don’t know anything about JFK’s assassination
- 2004, release of their first CD, First Time Caller
- 2009, their Canada tour received rave reviews
Come join us for a night to remember!
