Sean McCarthy is a Canadian saxophonist, composer, and bandleader based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is a member of several bands including The Cecil Street Syncopators, Isaak Bonk & The Roast Chicken Ramblers, Combo Royale, and Musette. He also leads various bands and has appeared as a sideman notable groups such as The Happy Pals, Nathan Beja’s Vipers Cloud, The New Orleans Connection All-Stars. Though he specializes in the soprano saxophone he has also performed on saxophones (Alto, Tenor, & Baritone), clarinets (Bb & Bass Clarinet), and flutes.
