Despite the name, the Worst Pop Band Ever is celebrating 20 years of filling clubs and festivals from Taipei to Vancouver; having music licensed for film, tv and podcasts; and just general nonsense.
They are looking forward to returning to the Jazz Room to celebrate the anniversary with the release of their latest albums The Least Greatest Hits Vol.1 and Vol.2.
When not tormenting each other, the individual members have had the good fortune of performing/recording with such esteemed artists as Blue Rodeo, Holly Cole, Ernie Watts, RIch Underhill, Chantal Kreviazuk, Kevin Breit, and have somehow convinced Juno Winners, Caity Gyorgy and Elizabeth Shepherd to join them on their latest release. Described as the ugly lovechild of Miles Davis and the Carpenters, with a soupcon of Radiohead, there’s a little bit of something for everyone.
