When:
May 6, 2022 @ 8:00 pm – 10:30 pm
This show took place on May 6, 2022. See what’s coming up at The Jazz Room.
Come on out and listen to the Top Pocket COREtet “Return to Basics”, playing standards and music they haven’t played in over 30 years! We will be doing all our favourite standards and even a couple of originals that lean towards standards. Through the years we’ve written a number of songs that were “standardesch” that we ended up putting on the back burner, in order to move forward with our more funky/fusion style. Now is your opportunity to hear Top Pocket’s take on standards. Please join us for what promises to be a fun night! Hope to see you there!
Today, the COREtet contains:
Robin Habermehl: Saxophones and Flute
Paul Stouffer: Keyboards
Michael Bergauer: Bass
Donnie McDougall: Drums
