Alex held the tenor saxophone chair with Rob McConnell’s Grammy award winning Boss Brass and the Juno award winning Rob McConnell Tentet producing recordings such as Touch of your Lips.

The Alex Dean Quintet is a high octane group of brilliant Canadian jazz artists assembled in recent years to record and play original music by Alex, Brian Dickenson, Lorne Lofsky, Kieran Overs and Ted Warren. The music ranges from straight ahead jazz to a dash of Coltrane.
