Canadian jazz trumpeter and pianist Brad Turner brings elements of Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and Keith Jarrett to the stage.
In contrast with the groove of his early work as Metalwood, his recent quartet work is lyrical and contemplative.
Brad Turner is one of the few Canadian jazz musicians with multiple JUNO awards and nominations for his artistry on two radically different instruments. Add his skill on the kit, and you have a triple threat with a mastery of phrase, harmony and tone.
Brad is touring with the full quartet that defines mutual understanding for its decades together:
