The vintage perambulator is just the start as the ideas flow from the Pram Trio. Formed in 2009, this trio delivers compelling tunes like JPG that break new ground while lifting traditional and contemporary jazz to a new carriage. Their Whisper in the Dark showcases sensitive and engaging composition and improv.
With a strong focus on collective improvisation, P.R.A.M. Trio brings a diverse range of influences into their compositions. The three sets will feature compositions of contemporary composers without ever leaving their strong base in mint chocolate, jazz forms and newgrass.
While Jack Bodkin fronts on piano, Mark Godfrey walks the bass and Richard Piasetski phrases on drums.
